Paul Ramirez has helped clients buy or sell apartments as small as 300 square feet, buildings as large as 200,000 square feet, and even 5,000 acres of land in Napa. He has additionally leased spaces of all sizes, from apartments to retail spaces to commercial offices. As former proprietor of his own brokerage firm, PAR Real Estate Advisors, he has acquired a wealth of skill, expertise, and knowledge.
His work as a consultant to a European real estate fund required him to identify, acquire, finance, manage, lease up, and increase the overall value of their historic building portfolio throughout the U.S. Despite facilitating over $100 million in real estate transactions in this capacity, Paul Ramirez discovered that he preferred the “personal” side of the business—helping friends find NYC apartments—and he gravitated toward this much more rewarding aspect of brokerage.
“Having begun my real estate career in investment sales, my point of view is often based on economics or value, and that transactions should make financial sense. I am also very supportive and attentive in the way I guide clients through the purchase, sale or rental process, because relationships, trust and chemistry are just as important as the deal itself.”
A native New Yorker from Oceanside, Long Island, Paul Ramirez attended SUNY Oneonta with the idea of being an elementary school teacher, but ended up majoring in Economics. He was a four-year starter and eventual captain of the Division I soccer team and continues to play soccer around NYC. Paul has lived in Manhattan for 30 years, mostly in the West Village, but now lives in Peter Cooper Village with his wife and Elliman team partner, Emily Weissman, and their dog, Lou.
